Below, you will find links to my write-ups about measures on the 2025 ballot. The sections will be separated by the jurisdiction running the ballot measure. In short, voters have to be a registered City of Boulder resident to vote on City ballot measures, a registered State of Colorado resident to vote on State ballot measures, and a registered Boulder County resident to vote on County ballot measures.

In Boulder, any of the six ballot measures listed below will pass with a simple majority vote. Voters can legally leave some ballot measures blank (called an undervote), but they shouldn’t fill in both the “yes” and “no” bubbles (an overvote), because doing so will disqualify their vote on that given issue.

I will recommend in the strongest possible terms that readers do some research before voting on ballot measures. I’ve tried to include deeper information in my write-ups, along with links for more information. In my opinion, there have been isolated occasions during my voting life where voters have made serious mistakes by not really evaluating detail, so please try to steer clear of talking points and social media while you’re making binding decisions for yourself and other people living in your given jurisdiction.
