Colorado Federal, State, and District Candidates, 2026

Here’s a nice picture of the field for a Spanish candidate forum. In theory, candidates should spend a lot of time letting voters know their stances on issues and personal attributes that people might care about.
Below, readers will find links to posts about candidate races for Colorado federal, state, and district elected offices in 2026. This page will not include Boulder City Council or Mayor candidates.
Hopefully this page is pretty self-explanatory. Still, I’ll recommend trying to learn a few big things along with the candidates’ positions on issues:
- What is the jurisdiction? Is a given race for a statewide position, or is it just for a district within the state?
- How long are the terms? The offices listed below are all for two, four, or six-year terms.
- How might a given race impact political or ideological balance of a governmental body?
I’ve tried to include as many candidates as possible in these posts, including minor-party candidates or unaffiliated candidates. If candidates have a website or social media page, I tried to include links.
